Short Duration Programme


The Executive Development Programme in Labour laws for Managers (EDPLLM) integrates the study of Labour Laws with related areas like employment relations, labour market and social policies. This programme will equip you with the skill set required by modern professionals in labour relations requirements. It will also provide you with the opportunity to distinguish yourself in a highly competitive market. The programme fundamentally deals with Labour Laws and it fosters solid grasp of legal knowledge and skills apart from creativity in solving problems associated with workers' interests and rights vis-a•vis employers' duties In the area of working conditions, employment conditions, wage, social security and other related aspects of work and employment. The programme would provide an in-depth study of Supreme Court and High Court case laws relevant to the needs of professionals in the administration of various Labour Laws in a workplace.

The classes for this programme will be delivered through LIVE lectures using Video Conference technology at nominated UCS-VCNow virtual classrooms centres across India. The pedagogy will comprise of case studies, interactive sessions, project work and class exercises imparted by XLRI’s faculty in order to help participants gain the knowledge, understanding, and hands-on skills to immediately apply their learning in the workplace. Additionally, participants opting for Certificate of Completion will be assigned project work and presentations that will be evaluated by the Faculty in addition to providing individual feedback.


The qualified students will be award an EXECUTIVE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME IN LABOUR LAWS for MANAGERS similar to the other e-MDPs offered by the VIL Office.

There are periodic evaluations built in throughout the duration of the course. These maybe in the form of a quiz, assignment, project, case studies or other objective/subjective assessments. The evaluations are designed to ensure continuous student engagement with the course and encourage learning. Participants who successfully complete the same along with the requisite attendance criteria and project work and presentation will be awarded a certificate of completion by XLRI. Participant who opt out of the evaluated exercises and meet the requisite attendance criteria will be awarded a certificate of participation by XLRI.
Students are expected to appear for any form of assessments from their nominated centres only.
